Our Story

At Duck Dog Farms, we have witnessed firsthand the healing power that comes from slowing down, stepping outside, connecting with animals, and experiencing the simple rhythms of farm life. We saw how meaningful those moments could be not only for adults searching for peace and connection, but especially for children in their earliest years of learning and development. Inspired by the joy, confidence, curiosity, and emotional growth that naturally blooms through outdoor play and hands-on experiences, we created Duck Dog Farms to be a place where families can learn, explore, and grow together. 

Our programs are rooted in sustainable living, character development, creativity, and play-based learning — encouraging children to explore the world around them through muddy boots, messy hands, big feelings, and tiny everyday discoveries. We believe some of the best learning happens outside: while feeding ducks, singing songs a little too loudly, digging for worms, and proudly bringing home sticks that somehow become family heirlooms by the end of the car ride. At Duck Dog Farms, we want children to grow up connected to nature, animals, community, and the simple kind of childhood magic that can only be found under open skies and a little bit of dirt.
